2011 marks the 152nd Anniversary of The Queen's Plate - the first jewel in Canada’s Triple Crown of Thoroughbred Racing and the longest continuously run stakes race in North America.
The other gems in the Crown are the Prince of Wales Stakes (Sunday, July 25,2010 at Fort Erie Racetrack) followed by the Breeders’ Stakes (Sunday, August 15, 2010, at Woodbine Racetrack). |
