In Pictures: Wise Dan wins the Woodbine Mile
TORONTO, September 16 - Morton Fink’s homebred Wise Dan, with Hall of Fame jockey John Velazquez up, zipped to victory in track record time of 1:31.75 in Sunday's Grade 1, $1 million Ricoh Woodbine Mile.
 
Woodbine track photographer Mike Burns, a multiple Sovereign Award winner, captured all the drama of a day that included a track record performance from defending Woodbine Mile champ Wise Dan and a tough-as-nails performance from turf star Forte Dei Marmi.
