BEARS GOAL took a short lead onto the main track and set a pressured pace, moved clear on the turn then held sway under a drive. STORMONTHEMOVE stalked the pace, closed into the turn then chased after the leader to the wire and showed a good late effort. BEARS REDNECK raced off the pace, came four and five-wide through the turn, finished gamely and gained late. JIMMY THE ROOFER raced midpack, chased four-wide late turn then finished determinedly. BREATHITT raced off the pace, angled three to five-wide through the turn, finished willingly and was best of the rest. DANISH SPIRIT forced the pace to the turn, chased to late turn and flattened out. HOLY TRINITY broke alertly but settled off the pace, raced five and six-wide on the turn and never reached contention. TWELVE BAR BLUES raced off the pace, was roused late turn but did not have a serious response. SEATTLE SOLUTION, in midpack early, gave way a bit late backstretch, was hustled on the turn then lacked a rally. TOMAHAWK SELECT had brief speed then pressed the pacesetter, gave way at the turn, was hustled along then tired at the top of the stretch.
