THE LONG WEEKEND

The Long Weekend is the story of two couples; Max & Wynn, and Roger & Abby. Roger & Abby have gone to visit Max & Wynn for a pleasurable weekend at their new house in the country. During the visit, we find out that Max and Abby are having an affair. This next scene finds the two deceivers discussing what they must do next.

 

DON'T DRESS FOR DINNER

This boulevard comedy was a smash hit in Paris, where it played for over two years, and in London, where critical acclaim greeted the Apollo Theatre production. Bernard is planning a weekend with his chic Parisian mistress in a French farmhouse. He has arranged for a cordon bleu cook to prepare gourmet delights, is packing his wife Jacqueline off to her mother's, and has even invited his best friend to provide the alibi. It's foolproof; what could possibly go wrong? Suppose Robert turns up not knowing why he has been invited? Suppose Robert and Jacqueline are secret lovers? What happens if the cook is mistaken for the mistress and the mistress is unable to cook? An evening of hilarious confusion ensues as Bernard and Robert improvise at breakneck speed.

 

NANA'S NAUGHTY KNICKERS

THE LOVE LIST

What do you get a friend for a 50th birthday present? Well, if you’re a guy, you buy him a “love list.” Bill is to put pen to paper and come up with a list of ten qualities that define the perfect woman and according to the Gypsy where Leon made this dubious purchase, she will appear. After much collaboration the list is complete and much to their surprise, she appears. Bill’s world is turned upside down as he learns more about himself, perfection and the pursuit of happiness.

      

STEEL MAGNOLIAS

A furniture store owner is having an affair with the local minister's wife.  The situation becomes complicated when the minister comes home unexpectedly.  An intricate web of deceit is hilariously exposed as the police, members of the parish, and the women's auxiliary all get involved.  Norm Foster's hilarious black comedy and first of many plays written by the well known Canadian playwright.

      

SUITEHEARTS

A young couple from Pennsylvania checks into a posh New York hotel to fill their weekend with bliss, only to have it filled with strangers. Timothy and his wife have inadvertently booked the same honeymoon suite as Frankie and Wanda, an older couple from New Jersey. After they scuffle over the accommodations, no one is where or with whom they should be. Filled with sight gags and one liners, this play broke the house records at New Jersey's Dam Site Dinner Theater. During the course of the evening, Timothy grows into a man, Elizabeth learns about trust, Frankie learns to respect women and Wanda learns to respect herself.
